As you said, the magic eraser is amazing and I love it! I have a split-level house with 5 levles so it's a pain to carry cleaning products from one floor to the next. I keep a few key cleaning supplies on each floor so I have easy access to clean and it's not such a chore. I also started using dish/wash cloths instead of paper towels for a lot of my cleaning to save money and paper.

Elsie - I am not a frequent cleaner either. I am glad I am not alone.

Nancy - the first time I used the magic eraser I was hooked. It is truly magic!! I wish they would make one that you could rub over your body to magically erase unwanted pounds.

LLK - great tip using your feet. I have gotten in the shower with a scrub brush, but using a sock or wash cloth is so much easier.

Mary - Congrats on 200 posts!

Thanks for commenting

I am not a frequent cleaner but my best tip is to put on some good music and give yourself a 5 minute break every 30 minutes.

My very favorite cleaning tool is the Magic Erase. It can clean anything...Sharpie from a painted wall, Sharpie from the leather seats of a new car, Sharpie from a bathtub, and Sharpie from a tile floor...yep, my young daughter went to town with a Sharpie one day...all of this in the same day, but before I cried, especially after seeing the seats in my new car, I tried the Magic Erase...wonderful, wondeful results!

The easiest cleaning tip I can pass along (courtesy of FlyLady) is to clean the bathtub while you're taking a shower. I just use a regular washcloth or a sock from the hamper (it's going to be washed anyways) and put some shampoo or shaving cream (whatever is in the shower with me--no use for special cleaners or harsh chemicals). As you're showering; use your foot to move the cloth or sock around the wall of the tub and when you get out you have a clean tub! No bending or scrubbing required! It's such a piece of cake! Cleaning the tub is no longer a chore--it's just something I do while I shower.
Easy Peasy!
