Thank you so much for this… I have been needing to put some cushions on the gliders on my back patio and did not want to figure out how to sew them. I bought some foam at Wal-mart, home dec weight fabric 50% off at Joanns, and voila… now I have some nice cushions that didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.. or a lot of my time either! Now I’m off to make some pillows to match!

I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT USUNIG SAFETY PINS! :-)
Every year I’ve been buying cute plastic table cloths and wrapping my cushions like a package, then i use electrical tape in a coordinating color to tape the back. It works great for the back cushions, but not so great for the seat cushinos that have to support more weight. Now I’ll use safety pins!
