In A Weekend…You Can Do…

by Diane Henkler on 04/20/2012

Happy Friday Everyone!  I love Fridays and want to celebrate the end of the work week with you in a way that I know will put a smile on your face.

I get many emails from readers telling me that they love to create and decorate, but can never find the time and end up feeling unaccomplished what with work, kids, and obligations – there just isn’t any time to take on big projects.

Others have also written to me and told me that many DIY decorating and home improvement projects seem too daunting at times and they get overwhelmed. If you are shaking your head like a bobble-head right now then you will enjoy the new series I am going to run over the summer months called In  A Weekend…You Can Do…

In a Weekend you Can do Blog Series

On occasional Fridays I will  showcase small projects that you can do around your house in a weekend.  None of the ideas or projects will take more than a few hours from start to finish.  Some may even be quick tricks and tips to help you make a task easier, plus I will always feature something to reward your efforts in the way of something delicious and sweet as no weekend work should ever go unrewarded.

I like to chill and relax on the weekends, to0 and will be doing some of these projects myself.   Yesterday I bought fresh blackberries to make No. 4

Bought some plump blackberries the other day for “houseguests” in town for a funeral and was kicking myself for not using them. Came across your yummy recipe and will try it out tonight! Thank You, Thank You!

In a weekend you can also completely screw-up the wiring on a home security system and blow your home up!
