To get a chance to win the grand prize of $10,000 all you have to do is go over to the Your Picks Your Place site and vote. There will be three more – 2 week voting periods that will run until August 14th so you have plenty of chances to vote for your favorite rooms and win.

They have an array of lifestyle, moving and entertaining tips for people in any size home. Getting Creative with Frugal Décor Ideas is right up my alley. I love maps and travel and think one of their ideas to use vintage atlas cutouts of places you’ve been or want to go as art for your walls is such an inspiring idea. I am going to do this myself… I have maps, scissors, and a few empty frames waiting to be part of my home’s décor once again. Easy, quick, and best of all personal and unique – my kind of decorating.
Or now that summer is here their post on Cottage Design and Décor 101 offers easy breezy tips and tricks on how to get that summer beachy cottage feel in your home.

Even thought I don’t do much DIY stuff I’d love to go to a conference like Haven. I went to a small blog social in Orange, CA and it was fun. It was a “shopping” social and we went to different stores to pick up our swag. I would have enjoyed it better if didn’t just have surgery a few days before. Anyways, looks like you had a great time and Haven and I hope I win your giveaway. :)

for a woman alone renovations are brutal and expensive-a gift card would be a BLESSING! Here’s a thoguht for the ladies-Lowes will cut anything to exact size I need so when I “build” something, I order on line, call for my cuts, then pick it up at the front desk…I don’t even have to hunt it down in the store!
I would use it at Pottery Barn. I’ve never shopped at Pottery Barn. How sad is that?
