It seems just like that… the season of holidays and homecomings is upon us. From Thanksgiving tables to Christmas parties, from decking the halls to gift giving. It has arrived. I am always on the lookout for clever and unique gifts and gift wrapping ideas and had the opportunity to get a first hand look at giving Thoughtfully.
Thoughtfully is the just launched site that sells handcrafted and 100% creative gift sets for all occasions.
With the gift giving season here, I wanted to share a few of their unique gift giving boxes that are full of creative fun. If you are busy and want to stay as frazzle-free as possible over the next 43 days, giving one of the gift sets will help since they are all ready to go and can be mailed to friends and family near and far.
When I saw the Holiday Photo Booth with photo props set, I knew I had to have it, not to give to anyone, although it would be a great hostess gift to take to a party, I wanted it to use in my house for Christmas Day.
When my mom was still alive she always brought Christmas Cracker party favors to my house that she gave out at the dinner table. They were filled with silly paper crowns, jokes, and little gifts, but they always made for tons of fun around the table. It has become a tradition to always find something fun and festive for the family to enjoy like this each year.
The holiday photo booth is going to be my offering this year as a way to have fun around the table using the props, but also will take the fun up a notch since we can play all day with the 8 props, mistletoe, and chalkboard banner.
I am going to set up a photo booth wall in my kitchen where everyone will be hanging out, complete with mistletoe and a chalkboard banner. I hung 2 pieces of “plank wall” poster board from Hobby Lobby on the wall with painter’s tape as the photo booth backdrop. I only used 4 of the chalkboards in the gift set to spell out the word KISS, but the set comes with 10 and the twine to hang them.
Every one has a cell phone so I know there will be lots of selfies and more taken with the props, plus kissing under the mistletoe. Fun memories will be made. Years from now I know I will hear from my friends and family… “Diane, remember that time you had the holiday photo booth set up at Christmas?
The props include a santa hat and glasses, reindeer antlers, a gingerbread man with a bite taken out of him, a top hat, plus mustache lollipops.
If you are hosting a pre-Christmas party or family on Christmas Day, think of it as a fun way to share the holiday spirit with your family and friends.
- Place the props on a tray so they are easy to carry around for guests to pick up. Once someone starts to play with them, others will soon follow, photos will be taken and many fun holiday memories made.
My other favorite gift set is the Cocktail Ornaments. Each wrapped and ready to give. All you need to do is write the recipient’s name or something festive on the tag.
How cute…jingle…jingle :-)
Inside each ornament is a different cocktail mixer. All that is needed is some ice and 3 oz of liquor.
They can add a little holiday cheer to a bar, but can also be used as:
- Party favors
- Stocking stuffers
- At each place setting on a holiday dinner table
Let the festivities begin!
Every gift set comes with information about the set, how to use it along with interesting facts and tidbits
There are even a few gift sets for foodies. This Sweet As Pie set is…
…Oh so cute… complete with an apple pie mix, recipe, white ceramic pie dish, kitchen towel, recipe cards and serving spoon that says.. you’ve been served. :-)
