As I promised in my last post, no more lamps for a while. This week I am going to start tackling 3 new projects. One will require elbow grease, another scissors, and the last, a straight edge and glue. Here is a sneak peak of these projects in their current state. I have a beautiful “After” vision in my head for each of them.
This hutch and buffet are in my dining room. They were a hand-me-down from my in-laws. Quite functional, fills the space, but I am not a fan of the finish. This is going to take elbow grease- LOTS of it!!!-
I have already moved the pieces out to the garage so I can get to work and make a mess.
I got this white fabric at my favorite $1.00 a yard place. I am going to use it in my dining room and family room for two different projects. It will require scissors-
I got this cute little round table at the store where I work for $22.00. I am not a fan of the dark color, but I love the silver and I love the fact it is on wheels. To complete this project I will need a straight edge, paper, and glue-
I won’t be able to continue working on any of these projects until Wednesday, as I will be in NYC for the next 2 days. On Tuesday I am going to be in the all blogger audience for…
I will post all about my two days of blogger+ Nate fun when I get back. It is going to be so exciting and I am anticipating a great time. I will take plenty of pictures to share with you.
I was lucky enough back in June when I saw a post on LaDolce Vita about Nate Day. After reading what Paloma had written, I knew I had to try to be part of it all. I had never actually tweeted anything but an automatic blog post up until then, but I figured it out and my tweet actually worked. I made the deadline and got myself on the blogger list. :) I am thrilled and wish I could bring you along with me. My camera battery is charging!!!
I will see ya on Wednesday.
