Remember last week when I told you I was going to NYC for an event hosted by Better Homes and Gardens and when I got back that I may have some goodies to give away to one of you?
Well today is the day… I have a bag of swag for one of you.
But before I get into the details of the swag bag….
I wanted to thank each and every one of you that voted for my project in Better Homes and Gardens March Makeover Madness Challenge.
Thanks to you, I advanced into Round 2. I loved getting all of your messages and emails telling me that you were voting every hour using all your devices… XO XO. I have one more day of voting to make it to the Final Four and then I get to go to the BHG headquarters for the makeover challenge.
I would love your vote again tomorrow – Thursday March 13th. It is only one day of voting that starts at 9 AM Central Time on Thursday. 10 AM for anyone in the Eastern time zone and continues until the same time Friday morning. You can vote every hour :) Thanks so much – I truly appreciate your time and efforts to get me to the Final Four. The link for voting is the same – Better Homes and Gardens March Makeover Madness Challenge.
Now back to the swag…
Everyone that attended the event got a big gray bag that was filled with a variety of the Best New Products of 2014. The products range from cosmetics, food, cleaning products, and more… Worth $75.
To make the cut, each product went through stages of testing and voting by consumers. The 91 products with the highest marks made it into the Best New Products of 2014.
The event was the unveiling of all the products to the public. Each was featured under a spotlight and we got to check them all out while enjoying drinks and delish hors d’oeuvres at the Humphrey in the Eventi Hotel in Manhattan.
I have not tried or used all of the products that were in my bag yet, but I have to tell you that I am in love with this eye serum complex by BeautiControl. I dabbed it around my eyes when I first opened it to see what it smelled and felt like. I didn’t think much about it until later in the day when I looked in the mirror and noticed how much better my skin felt and looked around my 54 year old eyes ;-) So many eye serums and creams make you look shiny. This one does not. I can see why it made it into the “Best New Products of 2014”.
This photo only shows only a few of the many items that were in my bag. Everyone got slightly different products.
If you would like a chance to win one of the swag bags filled with a bunch of the “Best New Products of 2014” – just leave me a comment on this post telling me you would like to win. :)
To increase your chances of winning – you can also enter to win a bag at a few of the other bloggers’ sites that attended the event.
Kelly at Eclectically Vintage and Jenna of SAS Interiors are also giving away one bag on their blogs starting today – so you have a few chances to win.
