It’s time to party once again and Rhoda at Southern Hospitality is hosting. She has invited us all to highlight some of our favorite DIY home decorting projects of 2010.
As I wrap up 2010, I am truly amazed looking back over the past year and 2 months since I started InMyOwnStyle. I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far, even if it means late nights on my computer after a day at work. I truly love it and have learned so much not just about blogging , but from so many of you.
I feel blessed that I have met so many people online that I never would have met any other way. I want to take this end of the year opportunity to tell all of you that I have never even met, but who have inspired, amused, encouraged, and touched me in so many ways. I love you all~ thanks for being my online buddies – my readers who have stopped by, commented, and connected with me. You are the best! xo
I hope that 2011 brings us more connection, fun, and inspiration. I have many exciting projects planned that I think will inspire you. I also will be starting a series on personal style that will focus on bloggers as well as a few other new features.
So lets go to the party, shall we? Cheers to spending another year together. Happy 2011!
I made a Desk Set out of a VCR Tape cover and a juice can.
I found a Dresser in the trash and revamped it with stuff from the Dollar Store.
I made a Monogrammed Necklace out of eyeglasses
and created the Studioffice of my dreams right in my formal living room.
I made a Spa-like transformation of 2 lounge chairs using white beach towels.
Added a modern touch to thrift shop finds, gift-wrap and a little round table.
I need my stuff in Artful Order – like this Rolodex transformation using paint chips.
Didn’t let the fact that I don’t own a Silhouette cutter deter me from creating my own version of Subway Art.
Instantly transformed my deck swing with a No-Sew Cushion Cover.
All I can say is…The Best 2 DIY Projects I ever made.
My new thrifty decorated Dining Room and Slipcovers.
Before and After: No more boring builder grade Chandelier.
