Recently I was invited to submit a DIY project post as a House Guest for the Wayfair.com blog. Of course I jumped at the opportunity! You know Wayfair.com right? The place where you can find just about everything home related. Not familiar with it? Head on over to Wayfair.com and type in the search bar what it is you are looking for. I guarantee – you will find it or something close – from rugs, to furniture, to power tools, to china – they have it.
If you are not familiar with their blog, My Way Home, I definitely recommend checking it out. You are in for a treat. You might recognize some familiar faces on their Homemaker team – Matthew Mead, Cristin Bisbee Priest of Simplified Bee, and Katie Bower of Bower Power. There are lots of inspiring posts ranging from food, décor, organizing, and style.
Today marks my first post on the Wayfair blog. I’m not sure whether I’ll be invited back. Let’s hope! I have been lucky to have been given so many wonderful opportunities since starting my blog. I can actually call myself a full-time blogger now and I am loving it. I may not be able to support my family yet on what I make, but opportunities like this are getting me a bit closer. I have you, my dear readers, to thank. XO
So if you have the time, head on over and check out my post today – Second Time Around Chic and leave me a comment. I’m sharing how I transformed a set of classic chairs I was storing in my basement for my daughter to use in her new place.
Thanks XO – Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Diane,
I actually discovered your post on the Wayfair blog. I’m always amazed at what a lick of paint can do and a bit of imagination. You took some pretty ugly looking chairs and turned them into contemporary pieces. Very fresh!
