Bourbon Slush

Ingredients

  • 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 6 oz. orange juice concentrate thawed
  • 6 oz. lemonade concentrate thawed
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 6 cups water

Instructions

  1. Makes 2 quarts: I mix the ingredients in a large plastic container with a lid that can go in the freezer.
  2. Steep tea bags in 1 cup boiling water for 15 minutes
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  4. Place in freezer overnight.
  5. Remove from freezer and let thaw for about 15 minutes, use a large spoon to shave and scoop the slush into glasses.
