Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Fall arrived at my house yesterday. The temps dropped into the low 70’s during the day and I opened every window and sliding door in the house to let the fresh air in after having the house closed up with the AC on since early June.

Autumn-Quote

When I woke up yesterday it was 51 degrees. Chilly, but it felt so good to sleep with fresh air in my bedroom. :-) Now if only it could stay this way every day. :-)

Has it become fall-like at all where you live?

    1. Hi Sue – Yep – like the saying goes, everything that goes around, comes around. In about 7-10 years painted furniture will be a thing again. :-) I still love the look of painted furniture or simply transforming it to fit my vision and needs.

  5. So many things to devour in the links you shared. Most of the reversed Pinterest items were enhanced by the paint stripping. But there’s something to be said for a well painted piece of furniture. Thanks for reposting the pound cake recipe. The way you wrap it to give as gifts is so beautiful. Have a great week!

  6. Thank you so much for sharing all the links, so interesting, especially love to peep inside homes I can only dream of.
Never heard of reverse pinterest before but was so glad to see it, how amazing to see people actually taking away all this paint, poorly put on and giving things new life.x
