Style Scouting: Vol. 245

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

My husband Ed and I traveled to Virginia to spent the weekend helping our newlywed daughter and her hubby make some improvements on their house. I wrote about the house in this post. (open in same tab)

We hung drapes, added storm/screen doors and wallpapered an accent wall in the room that will be my 3rd grandchild’s nursery. Yep – Mandy is pregnant with a boy due in October. :-) We are very excited!!! His room is going to be done in blue, grey and white. I will be sharing more as the room and other projects get completed.

Hi Nancy – I and the rest of my family are very excited to have another grandchild in the family. My twin sister’s son is not married and my younger sister doesn’t have any kids so no grands for them, so mine get lots of grand auntie love and attention also.

  2. So excited for your family!! Congratulations 🩵🩵🩵

      Thanks Lynn – XO

  3. Congratulations to your daughter & her hubby!! Thank you for all your Sunday links, I really appreciate them very much. I just ordered a SPF 50 hat with neck coverage & a shrug to throw over whatever I’m wearing from Solbari. It’s pricey but worth it for the sun protection, as the sun really bothers my skin now. Looking forward to seeing the house updates you were helping with.

Hi Holly – Finding the right sun hat I have found is crucial to always wearing it. I have mine straw hat with a wide brim strung on a cord that hangs on my back when I am in stores. Funny story – recently when in Target, a little girl around 4 smiled at me and then I heard her tell her mom… look mommy, that lady is a cowgirl. :-).
