Style Scouting: Vol. 272
Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

The countdown to Christmas is officially on, just 11 days to go. I hope you’ve been able to enjoy the preparations and find little moments of joy along the way. This time of year always brings a familiar tug at my heart, a strong yearning to hop on a train and head straight into New York City, just to soak up the holiday hustle and bustle that only December in the city can offer.
It’s probably no surprise that my favorite Christmas song has always been Silver Bells, especially the Andy Williams version. It perfectly captures the magic of the season for me.
Those lyrics instantly transport me back to another time… city sidewalks dressed in holiday style, the hum of shoppers, children laughing, and that unmistakable feeling that Christmas is truly in the air. It’s a song filled with memories that still make me smile.
When I lived in Pennsylvania, my mom, sisters and I made a day trip to NYC every December. As the years went by, it continued as a tradition with Ed and my daughters that I looked forward to all year long. I miss it so much. As convenient as mall shopping can be, it just doesn’t compare to the energy, sights, sounds, and sparkle of Christmas in New York City.
Tomorrow, my twin sister and I are heading out for some holiday shopping of our own. I already know those NYC memories will be right there with me — and I wouldn’t be surprised if I find myself quietly humming Silver Bells as we go.
I hope your week ahead is filled with warmth, simple pleasures, and plenty of holiday cheer.

Hi Diane
I love the cranberry color! Just purchased a corduroy shirt from Costco! I will get lots of wear out of it!.
Loved the article about decorating bloggers now becoming influencers and sometimes advertising clothing that is terrible. Recently, I have been seeing ads for colostrum and the product costs around $109.00.I googled the Mayo Clinic to see what they had to say. They basically say research is still in the early stages as to how this benefits adults . Ultimately, they say more research on more conditions and populations is needed to sift through the specifics of who can benefit from colostrum. Those of us on a budget definitely have to sift through all kinds of information to see if a product is worth spending your money on. I definitely agreed with her article. Thank you for sharing.
