Style Scouting: Vol. 277

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Happy February 1st. After living in South Carolina for the last 10 years, I finally got my wish.

My wish for a snow day! We got a snowstorm – a real honest-to-goodness snowstorm of 3-6 inches of fluffy snow falling.

That is a nice layering of snow anywhere, but especially here in the southeast. Most SC natives rarely have seen this much snow, but for Ed and I who grew up in the northeast it wasn’t huge, but the snow sure looks pretty framing the lake.

The snow is sure to stick around and most likely will get icy since the temps are going to keep going down over the next few days.

No one has snow shovels around here so I expect nothing will be shoveled as homeowner don’t normally need them and the local towns don’t have snow plows. We no longer have our snow shovels. We gave them and our snowblower to the family that bought our house in suburban Philadelphia.

Since it is the weekend and we have no place to go, we will be enjoying the winter wonderland outside, especially with the clear view from our new sliding glass doors. YAY! for the snow day I have been wishing for. :-).

I hope if it is snowy and frigid where you are that you are staying warm and toasty.
