Style Scouting: Vol. 283
Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

How was your week? I got “the cold” that has been going around with an unwanted side of pollen to double my misery. It rained hard on Thursday which knocked the pollen down, but the pollen season here is just getting started. We get the bright yellow kind mostly from the pine trees all around us.
During the rain storm, we also got a tornado warning. Have you ever gotten one of these alerts on your phone? It is a blaring beep and if you are out and about everyone’s phone starts blaring. The alert alone is scary, in mass quite a scene.
My sister was getting a procedure done at the hospital when the alert came. They had to stop all procedures and everyone had to head to the hallway until the storm passed. We didn’t get a tornado, but a water spout on the lake. The storm was crazy wild to watch from our house.
Starting this week there will be a big mess going on in my foyer. We had to empty the contents to get it ready for the contractors to start work tomorrow. I will share more this week with you.
Now onto the links I found for you this week.

“Much like the moon, women also have seasons. The spring of life is when everything is starting, and you like to marvel at each and every thing. Then there is the summer of life, where the fruits of it all are being revealed. In the autumn of life, there are many beautiful colors and lessons. Then you enter winter, which is where I am now. It’s such a luxury to have experienced the other three seasons because aging is such a luxury. It’s beautiful, too.” – Diane von Furstenberg
