Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Did you do anything yesterday to celebrate May 1st? Ed and I spent a pleasant afternoon with our younger daughter, Mandy and our granddaughter Zoe while Zoe’s mom and day were away on a trip.

We toured a new home build on a flower farm and even with all the construction on the property, they set up a Maypole with flowers and colorful ribbons to celebrate May 1st.

Zoe and even the guys in attendance had fun dancing with ribbons to weave them around the Maypole. :-)

I haven’t done that since I was in 6th grade. :-) It brought back fond memories and was fun to see Zoe have such a fun time doing it. Have you ever done the Maypole dance?

Here is visual of a few of the things I have bought recently or am considering. I haven’t bought the swing yet as I am not sure if I can hang it outside between two tall pines, but I love it and dearly want to add one so I can swing by the lakeshore with my morning tea or in the afternoon just to relax.

As always, thanks so much for reading. XO

Have a fabulous weekend and week ahead.

  1. You come up with coolest articles to post! Thank you for recipes. I will try them this week. The turmeric and ginger are doing me a world of good. Feeling so much better, thanks to you.

    Love Jenna Sue’s faux pots.

  3. Diane,
The May Pole sounds like it was fun to share with Zoe. I remember doing that in elementary school. The girls loved the bright ribbons and going around – the boys not so much when we were in the 5th grade.
Thank you so much for mentioning Kaya Papaya Design today. But I warn anyone – bagmaking can become an addictive hobby!
    Have a great week!

    1. Hi Lisa – I have always wanted to design a handbag, one of your.pdf’s will give me a good start.
