Style Scouting: Vol. 51

It’s Sunday, which means time for my weekly round-up of a mixed-bag of things that inspired me, made me smile or that I found interesting online this week.

I also wanted to share something that inspired me so much that I decided to change something in a big way in my living room.

It was after seeing this room on Pottery Barn’s site.

With a little help from a shopping trip to HomeGoods, the decorating idea I got is coming together. I still have a bit more to do, but stay tuned, as I hope to finish the project this week.

Posts You May Have Missed This Week:

I wrote to my email subscribers on Friday that I will be updating some old content and posting it over the summer. If you are a long time reader you may remember some of them. It is one way to get popular posts lost deep in my archives back into view.

Here are two older posts I updated this week:

Photo: The Color Kind

I prefer white walls, but this wallpaper may just change my mind.

I do this to a certain extent, do you?

I may not be a whizz with a sewing machine, but I think I can make a few of these to organize odd & ends.

Fashion & Beauty

You go GIRLS!

I love this tote and use whenever I am out & about.

If you want to secure the camera on your devices… I found this phone case with a sliding camera cover and also these sliding camera covers for phones, tablets, and computers.

Something to make with a just picked tomato from your garden.

Grown up Ramen for dinner.

This recipe for chicken.

Do this one thing at every meal and you may just lose weight.

If you are a corn and zuke lover.

Fun & Interesting

I like watching a storm brewing, but never have seen one quite like this WOW worthy one.

I have heard of a bicycle built of two, but how about for seven?

I love her! She sure is energetic!

The cutest thing I have seen all week.
