How is the holiday weekend going for you so far? Ed and I traveled to Virginia to see our youngest who just bought a house and will make settlement soon.
We got to take a tour so we could take measurements of windows, doors and more so we can start buying materials and supplies to help her make the house her own.
Fall is in the air… last night it felt chilly, so much so that my daughter and I both put a light jacket on as we ate dinner at an outside restaurant on the downtown mall.
We also went apple picking way up high on Carter’s Mountain. The weather and views were both spectacular! I will be making apple sauce once I get home with the Golden Supreme apples that we picked.
More reasons why I love the season so much and happy to feel the change.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the Labor Day weekend.

Boy, those RVs make me have the ‘wanties’. I’d love to try living in one, but could we do it? Seems like my house has gotten bigger and bigger over the years, and we have it filled to the brim. So. Maybe someday..?

Hi Linda – I would love to take a cross-country trip or any trip in one of the made over RV’s someday too. :-)
