Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.
I am heading back home today after two weeks in Los Angeles where I was watching my granddaughter. I had a wonderful time with her. She is doing well after starting a new phase of treatment and I loved being able to spend lots of quality one-on one time with her.
A break away from my daily routine is always nice and gets me recharged and ready to move forward with renewed energy. I have new projects and ideas to share with you coming up over the next few weeks, so stay tuned as I get back into action.

Your posts are always so worth reading. I love the house that you shared. One question though….would you use marble instead of quartz on your countertops? I have granite currently but am thinking quartz for the future. I have a marble farmhouse kitchen table and it is so hard to take care of because some products cause it to cloud. I have not found a product to remove cloudiness.
Hi Nancy – Thank you – that is nice to hear. :-). Does marble polishing powder not work to remove the cloudiness? If I were to get new kitchen counters – something I am seriously thinking about myself, I think I would get quartz. It seems the more popular option since it looks great and wears better than marble.
Loved everything about this post! Thanks for sharing all this good stuff😊
I related so much in this post and loved it. Thanks so much for sharing. Glad to hear your granddaughter is doing well.
