Style Scouting: Vol. 78

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

How are you on this cold February day? I am snuggled under a fur throw as I write this… with thick fleece-lined socks on and a cup of hot tea – black with a squeeze of lemon.

Cozy bliss. :-)

Now onto the inspiration and ideas I found this week…

Decorating

Lots of interesting details in this beautiful home.

Love what this designer did to the exterior windows on this whole house makeover.

I am starting to think about spring. Here is a set of outdoor swivel rockers for a great price or these.

What the American Home has looked like over the years.

DIY

These vertical paneled walls will have you doing a double-take when you read how it was done.

Elevate your kids artwork to look like it belongs in an art gallery.

Such a cute and trendy addition to a basic terracotta planter.

Organizing

It is about time! No more blocking what is under them.

Food

Sweets for your sweethearts.

A cheesy comfort casserole.

I am sure that this would be demolished in minutes at a Super Bowl party.

Out & About

Looking forward to this movie coming out this week.

Fashion

Bra-llelujah! I love the name. :-) The most comfy bra – ever! And Target’s knock-off.

A comfy sweater that goes with jeans, leggings or even dressy pants.

Fun & Interesting

I enjoy watching how the things we use are made. If you are a pasta lover I think you will like this.

So very creative!

Can you do all of these? I really had to think about each one.

Something to Think About

Is your TV tracking you?

It is all contextual?

Stop doing this and you will be happier.

  1. What an interesting post! So interesting to see how the home trends have evolved. The house designs that had been build were really beautiful.

  2. I agree, it’s all contextual. Have a good week. Bring on Spring!

  3. Love the terra cotta pot idea! I am off to order wood balls/beads on this cold 29 degree day in CT. Dreaming of Spring!

What? Not one mention of the 70’s Avocado Green or Harvest Gold in the history of the American Homes decor? Shame on them.

I agree Nadine – The writer of the article must be young to have missed the Avocado Green and Harvest Gold trend. It was huge!!
