Style Scouting: Vol. 80

The weeks are flying by – It is hard to believe that this week marks my 80th Style Scouting post. When I first began writing these posts, I called them Friday Favorites.

Then I changed the posting day to Sunday, so I needed to come up with a new name. After a lot of thought, Style Scouting made perfect sense as it is exactly what I enjoy doing…

…finding interesting ideas, inspiration and projects that are doable as well as lifestyle ideas that I can share with you every week.

Decorating

I like this designer’s portfolio. Simple, clean lines – yet not too modern.

I also like the casual vibe of this home.

The movies to watch before decorating your home. I know movies inspire me. I painted my dining room in tone-on-tone persimmon colored stripes after watching the movie, It Takes Two back in the 90’s as well as painting all the rooms white in my house the very next day after seeing Something’s Gotta Give.

DIY & Crafts

This is so cute to make for your garden or porch.

I am thinking of adding this feature to my kitchen.

I like this simple craft idea – it teaches kids or grandkids a skill, as well as gives them something they can use on a daily basis.

A spring project that will add curb appeal to your home.

Food

I think these are the cutest cookies I have ever seen. Perfect for a spring gathering.
