Jingle Bell Place Cards for Holiday Table Settings

This is a quick post to show you how to make the sweet little jingle bell place cards that I made for my holiday table.  When I set a table I always like to use place cards. I think they not only make the table look prettier, but will make your guests feel extra- special.

Since I made the place cards with jingle bells they are perfect to set your Christmas or even New Year’s table with so you can ring the new year in style!

supplies needed:

  • 3 jingle bells for each card, buy at the craft store
  • White card stock
  • Computer with fonts installed and printer
  • Hole punch
  • Curling ribbon
  • Scissors

1. Using your computer and printer. Open up Word, Pages or Photoshop and write the names in the font, color and size you want in a new blank document. I used the font Precious – Size 80 pts. I printed the computer generated names on card-stock and then cut each name out around the letters.

Note: As you cut out the names, leave a little extra card stock to the left of each name so you can use a hole punch to punch a hole in the paper and then tie the ribbon with the jingle bells through the hole.

2. Tie 3 jingle bells together with a few strands of curling ribbon and then tie on to the place card.

I placed the jingle bell place cards on a table runner I made using these mirror tiles so they would catch the candle light.  It looked very pretty.

I used 3 small jingle bells, but you could use one larger jingle bell also. Your guests will enjoy picking them up and hearing the sound of the season right at the table.

  1. The hurricane candle holders are Dollar Tree vases glued to DT candle holders. I would hesitate using real candles.

I tried to find the candle holders you use on your table I went to the dollar store but they did not have them any suggestions where I might get them? I do decorate with mirrors not only at Christmas but throughout the year I also use cake plates on stands to do a lot of decorating. Love the table

Hi! I am contemplating painting over some rubber/plastic, mosaic kitchen stickers that I applied to add some color to my kitchen. Now, I think it would look much better if I painted them with one of the Glidden oil based, or Rustolem latex super glossy whites you have advertised. They are inch wide vertical peel and stick mosaics. I think painting over them with a high gloss will make them look very classy with the texture. I’m just not sure which paint will give ithem a brushless look. Which do you recommend?
