Style Scouting: Vol. 182

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Hello March! Spring is only 17 days away. :-). I enjoy the coziness of the house during Winter, but am ready to be able to open windows and let the fresh air in.

This time of year – the end of February into March always brings travel to my life (sounds like a horoscope) :-) and this year is no different. I am on my way home from Virginia after spending a few days with my daughter, Mandy, Matt (her boyfriend) and her cute dog, Lolly.

We shopped, watched movies, walked and ate at quite a few delicious restaurants in Charlottesville, VA. Next it is off to Florida and then out to Los Angeles to celebrate my granddaughter turning 5!

But even with all the travel, I am still working on a few colorful projects that I will be posting soon. One is small, the other big.

Now onto the links I found this week.

Fashion & Beauty

I just love, love, love this recent fashion accessory story.

I have the shirt, now it comes in a casual dress in denim and 2 other fabrics.

After a visit to an allergist last fall for a skin issue, he recommended this line of skin care. I have been using all the products faithfully for the last 4.5 months and am sold. I especially like this product in the line that makes my facial skin look it’s best.

Fun & Interesting

I worked in a few retail department stores and only knew a little bit about this practice.

Something to Think About

  • This set of planter buckets. I like the green set, but there are 4 other finishes.
  • This blouse has my name all over it. Not really, :-) but I always go for the style.

Hi Nancy – I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the cottage. It is so nice and colorful. I try to find a range of home sizes and styles to cover all readers.

  3. Vanicream and me are friends. If you have a Costco nearby they may carry what you’re looking for.Ask if you don’t see it. Ours keeps the product at the pharmacy area.

Hi Karen – Thank you so much for telling me about Costco selling Vanicream products. :-) I am a member and will ask on my next shopping trip. I love Costco, I get so much there, even my eye glasses.
