Another week goes by… how was yours? Mine was uneventful with me just trying to get my mojo and energy back, which I am – YAY! Now that I feel better I hope to tackle a few more energy requiring projects. :-).

Where you live will you see the total or partial eclipse? Back in 2017 where I Iive on Lake Murray in South Carolina was right on the path of the total eclipse. We took our boat out on the lake to get a 360 degree view of it. It was amazing to watch. I am still in awe.

Seeing it makes you stop and think more about our planet and the solar system. We will only see a partial this time round, but I have my viewing glasses ready.

Now onto the links I found.

  1. Thank you, Diane, for posting about Benson’s Table Tasty Salt Substitute. It’s delicious! My husband & I are trying to reduce our sodium intake. We’ve tried Bensons on different food such as rice, hamburgers, popcorn, etc.

    1. Diane Henkler says:

Hi CathyAnn – I have tried so many and Benson’s is the best all around. I only wish it didn’t clump when you it starts to get 1/4 full. I try to keep any moisture away from the lid and don’t sprinkle it over steaming food so the contents stays dry.

  2. Glad you’re getting better. Have you read The Magnificent Lives of Majorie Post or Things Past Telling? Both historically interesting and both good reads.

    1. Diane Henkler says:

Thanks Pamela – I can tell I am feeling better as the ideas are starting to populate my mind again. Thanks also for the book suggestions. I have not read either and will add them to my list. :-)

Thank you as always for including me in your wonderful post! I’m totally getting that waterless diffuser!

    1. Diane Henkler says:

Hi Sheri – I love when I find great and doable ideas. I try to help promote us bloggers and not the big online magazine sites. :-) You always have great ideas, content and photos.

Book Suggestion: Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See was excellent!

    1. Diane Henkler says:

Hi Desiree – Thanks for the book suggestion. I added it to my list.

  5. I am in the path of totality in northeast Texas, however, cloudy skies and rain are forecast at that time. The news has interviewed travelers to this area and one couple was from Washington. Locals were advised last week to stock up on necessities before the weekend. I feel bad for the small towns that stocked up on food and beverage and souvenirs in the event the forecast rings true.

    1. Diane Henkler says:

Hi Terry – I hope the Texas sky were you are was clear and you got to see the full eclipse. I did see a few excellent shots of it from Texas on the news.
