Style Scouting: Vol. 204

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Have you been watching the Olympics this week? I have and seeing the athlete’s speed, skills, determination and focus to be the best is amazing to watch. They are superhumans that show when you put your mind to it, great things can happen.

I am not an athlete aiming to win a gold medal, but they are still inspiring me to strive to do my best in what I am good at which is creating and coming up with decorating ideas to share with you. :-)

This week I also found that taking a break from projects over the last few months has been a good thing as I am getting excited about the fall. My brain is on overdrive with fall decor ideas and more that I am looking forward to sharing with you.

For now though, here is what I found inspiring around the web this past week.

  1. Lots of good finds. Please give a review of the brown baby dolll dress after you get it. Looks like something I’d wear often. Thanks.

  2. I always enjoy watching the Olympics! I agree, the Olympic athletes are inspirational for all of us. Susan Branch’s books are great, I think I first heard about her in your blog.

  3. Me again😊. Loved the reference to Sugar and Charm website. I will be following her on Facebook! I cannot wait for her book to come out❤️. Fun ideas and great looking recipes.

  4. Diane, You always post fun and interesting sites and ideas to check out. Loved the one about Ina Garten. How fun would it be to sit and visit with her. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person when she released her first cookbook. It was a small group of us here in the Twin Cities and she spent time talking to each of us as she signed her book. A memory I will always cherish❤️

I loved your reference to Susan Branches book about fall. Love her illustrations and simple ideas.
