Free Printable Thank You Tags for Wine, Flowers & Hostess Gifts
Need a card for a thank you gift? Why not keep things simple and use a free-printable thank-you gift tag instead.
There are so many moments in life when a simple thank you is all that’s needed… a friend who invites you over for dinner, a neighbor who lends a helping hand, or a hostess who makes you feel instantly welcome.
And while a bottle of wine, a plate of just baked cookies or a bouquet of flowers is always appreciated, I’ve found that it’s the little finishing touch that makes these gifts feel more personal.

That’s exactly why I created these free printable thank you gift tags.

They are simple, classic, and designed to work with just about any kind of thank you gift you may be giving.

Whether you’re tying one onto a bottle of wine, slipping it onto a wrapped candle, or adding it to a bundle of flowers, these tags instantly make your gesture feel more thoughtful and complete without much effort on your part.

The best part? You can print them out in advance so you always have a stash of them on hand to elevate even the simplest thank you.

Paper to Use to Print the Gift Tags
When printing out the thank you gift tags, I always use cardstock (65-80 lbs) or heavier weight scrapbook paper that you can find sold by the sheet or in pads at the craft store.

When printing the tags I set my printer on color and at 100%. This will give you a full sheet of tags as shown in the photo above.
To enlarge the tags: If want a larger gift tag, change the print percentage on your printer to a percentage you want like 125%. Then place a sheet of the tags printed out at 100% onto the printer glass. When enlarging, you will lose the tags around the outer edges, so make sure to center at least one tag on the printer glass so you get at least one or two complete tags in a larger size.
How to Cut Out the Gift Tags

A craft-size paper cutter made by Fiskars is what I use to cut the tags apart. You can also use a pair of scissors, but I like the straight lines the paper cutter provides.

I use a single hole paper-hole punch to make a hole on the top of the tag so I can thread ribbon, chain, yarn, raffia or string to tie it onto the thank you gift.

I’ve always believed that it’s not about how big or elaborate a gift is, but how it’s given.
A simple tag tied with ribbon or twine can turn something ordinary into something that feels truly considered. It shows you took just a few extra moments to make someone feel appreciated and that’s what people remember.

I hope these printable thank you gift tags become one of those little go-to details you keep tucked away and use again and again. The kind that makes last-minute gifts feel intentional and everyday moments feel just a bit more special.
Because sometimes, it really is the smallest touches that leave the biggest impression.
