I am back with another installment of Insta-Style. If you are new here, I started a weekend series where I share a simple project for which no tutorial is needed.
You may not own the same items I show in the posts, but I am hoping that the ideas will inspire you to look at everything around you with new eyes and ask yourself…”what if?” to come up with your own Insta-Style decorating ideas.
What do you get when you put a doorknob and a pencil or pen together?
A styling pen or pencil holder.
I have my favorite purple glass doorknob with a purple pen on my desk.
You can see the previous posts in the series, here: Insta-Style Posts
I made the Rolodex on my desk a few years ago. Here is the link to the post I wrote about it: Rolodex In Artful Order
Love it! What a super sweet idea!!!
Diane I just love your instal-style posts. Great idea and thanks for sharing. I feel like I need to be searching for door knobs now to make this and your door knob curtain rod.
Thanks Stephanie I love quick and easy projects – especially repurposing ones. I am filling up my weekend posting schedule with more. So stayed tuned..
Love it AND the the Rolodex post!
Oh how wonderful. What a great gift this would be. And I have always loved your Rolodex too… in fact I really need one now.
There you go again! Cutest most simple idea ever.
Super cute and easy……can you next share about the roledex? That looks too cute……
Hi Lisa – I made the Rolodex a few years ago and have used it everyday since. Here is the link to the post I wrote about how I made it: https://inmyownstyle.com/2010/06/in-artful-order.html https://inmyownstyle.com/2010/06/in-artful-order.html
I sell vintage glass doorknobs and cannot wait to reference this great idea in my online shop! Thanks again.
