Printable Baby Nursery Basket Labels for Beautiful and Organized Storage

There is something so sweet about setting up a nursery for a newborn. Every tiny onesie folded just so, the soft blankets stacked in a basket, the diapers tucked neatly within reach. It’s one of those seasons of decorating where function and heart go hand in hand.

I have been helping my younger daughter, Mandy set up a nursery for my newest grandson. Once we got the nursery walls painted, wallpaper hung, rug and furniture in place it was time to get all the “baby things” organized.

Mandy found various sizes of white baskets to use in the room for storage. They’re affordable, practical, easy to move around, and add style to the room.

She called me after she bought them and said… “Mom, you know the pretty labels you make and put on everything”. Yes – I do. “Can you make some for the white storage baskets I found a Target that fit on the changing table and closet shelf.”… of course I can.

As she knows without labels, even the prettiest baskets can quickly turn into a guessing game of where things are at 2 a.m.

To make the baskets function better, I created a set of simple blue and white decorative labels that feel classic and calming, yet still blend beautifully with a thoughtfully decorated nursery.

On the changing table, Mandy placed a sticky note on the baskets so I knew where to attach each label.

She also had more baskets ready for labels in the closet.

The color combination is timeless and works whether the room leans traditional, coastal, cottage, or modern. They’re designed to look like part of the decor, not an afterthought.

A labeled basket might seem like a small detail, but when you’re reaching for burp cloths with one hand and holding a baby with the other, you’ll be glad everything has its place.
