Style Scouting: Vol. 279
Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

I hope you had a sweet Valentine’s Day. Ed and my big romantic evening consisted of a making a nice dinner and watching the Olympics. :-)
On a more exciting note, we had something unusual happen here on Friday evening. We had a 2.8 earthquake located near the lake. I heard it and felt it. When thinking of earthquakes, we tend to think of the west coast, but back in 1886 Charleston, SC had a big one that measured 7.3.
If you have ever been to Charleston, you probably have seen the many historic homes with earthquake bolts along the rooflines. They are quite fascinating to read about. (open in same tab)
Anyway all is quiet now and I am prepared to enjoy the warm weather that is coming our way this week. I also have been doing something totally new to me over the past few weeks that I have enjoyed more than I ever thought, so stay tuned as I will post about it this week.
