Style Scouting: Vol. 121

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

How was your week? Mine was good, my hip feels almost back to normal and I am getting out and about again. Yesterday was Ed and my 39th anniversary. We had big dinner plans for last night and had a trip planned to go the Charleston for a day of Christmas shopping.

Sadly our anniversary dinner and our trip had to be canceled since Ed came down with Covid on Friday. :-(

I am hoping I don’t get it so none of our other holiday plans have to be canceled. For now Ed is quarantining in our bedroom. He has all his needs… a bath and a big screen TV to watch football and me setting food outside the bedroom door. :-)

I am so glad that your hip is almost back to being great again. Happy Anniversary but what a way to celebrate! Poor Ed, I do hope he will be over Covid very soon. No fun for him.
I haven’t been through it but one never knows when someone will pass it on. We just never know. Stay safe and both of you get well soon. Kind regards Peggy

Hope Ed is still doing well in his journey with Covid. I’m on my 10th day after probable exposure and seem to be okay, but it’s been a little stressful. Glad you are doing so well with your hip. Stay strong.

  3. Sorry to read about Ed. COVID is so scarey. Tough times in Minnesota. Our nurses will be on strike in about a week. They work so hard. We are assured traveling nurses will be here to help but it still isn’t the same. Tell him to be a good listener and follow your rules😊. Happy to see you are recovering well.

Cant wait to bake that cherry kiss cookie you posted. NUM!

  4. Happy to hear about your recovery!! Hopefully Ed gets better quickly and you don’t end up getting it also. :(
Thank you for the links….the paper angels are so pretty!!!

  6. I’m happy to hear that you and your hip are doing well…and sad to hear that Ed has Covid. Hoping for a quick recovery. That pull apart cheesy bread looks delicious…I think I have to make it. Enjoy your day! ;)
