Style Scouting: Vol. 130

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

This week seemed to have whizzed by. I think the reason was that I had two appointments in Columbia which is about 50 minutes away from where I live. The first was on Monday for a hip check-up. All is good and then on Thursday I went back into Columbia to my annual eye doctor appt – all good there too.

When I go into the city, I try to make the trips fun by stopping at Trader Joes and Whole Foods to pick up food my supermarket doesn’t carry. I keep a big cooler in my car so the food I get stays cold while I am out & about.

Then I like to head to a few retailers like Anthropologie and Barnes & Noble just to see what is new. I call days I do this “Bookstore Days” where I take my time and browse the whole store. By the time I get home on days like this, it is dinner time and “relax mode” is calling my name. :-) Before I know it the day is gone and the week sped by.

How was your week, do you like to get out and about by yourself to get some retail therapy?

  1. Hi Diane, I always enjoy your Sunday posts! In the future, will you please alert us to TikTok links? I have heard about security issues and would prefer to veer away from it. Thank you.

  2. I really enjoy your “link finds” like the dress bow. I sent it to my niece for her little girl. My niece watched the video twice then practiced twice and said it is the best idea and bow ever! She says she cannot wait to do this in front of some other moms.
A lot of your “finds” I find myself pinning or doing a copy and paste.
Thank you and know that your hard work is appreciated by me and the people I share the “finds” with.

Hi Pam – I am smiling big time picturing your niece learning to tie a pretty bow from the link I shared and showing others, especially moms how to do it. A great confidence builder for her. Thank you for telling me. I enjoy finding good ideas and inspiration each week so creating the post is fun for me. Thanks for reading my blog. XO

  3. I really like that you are sharing a bit more personal information about your life/ week.I thought your DIYs were great this week. Who knew Martha had a part of Amazon?

Hi Nancy – I am trying to get in the habit of taking photos when I am out and about and even at home to share with readers for a more personal post on Fridays. I know I like reading blogs where the blogger shares more of their life with their readers. So I figure I should do it myself. :-)
