Style Scouting: Vol. 216

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Goodbye October, Hello November. Did you remember to turn your clocks back last night? Many people don’t like that the early evening hours will be darker now. I am not one of them as I love the cozy homey feel the time change provides for the dinner hour.

I will put my kitchen counter lamp on (open in same tab) and play some relaxing tunes while I prepare dinner and I am in a happy place. In about two weeks I will start listening to my favorite Christmas music when it gets dark which will make the dinner hour feel even more magical.

How about you? Do you like when it gets dark earlier now that the clocks went back an hour?

Great scouting, D. I adored that old fashioned tree night light. I have one that my mom made back in the 70s that looks just like that, only large and ceramic. What a cute idea. Love the idea of a gingerbread house making party too.

  2. So many clever things! Love the DIY Christmas craft with white bottle brush trees similar to Anthropologies. Also love that little ball tree from Amazon. I’ve got trees on my radar I guess.
