Style Scouting: Vol. 269

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

My week started off exciting! The new sets of sliding glass doors we ordered about 6 weeks ago for the living room, kitchen and all-purpose room were going to get installed.

We got everything cleared and ready for the contractors, they came and started with the living room door. They ripped out the existing door and began to place the first new door frame in … oooops!

door-install

The door was slightly too short, not our fault, but now we have to wait for another 6 weeks for the right size doors to be made.

At least the frame and door could be installed, caulked and locked since the width measurement was correct. The door looks very nice, but the top part has unfinished 2 x 4’s that act as the top of the door framing for now. Maybe I will decorate it for Christmas with a garland or lights. :-).

I hope you have a great week ahead and if you are in the US – Happy Thanksgiving!
