Style Scouting: Vol. 289

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

I know it has been fairly quiet here on the blog lately, but behind the scenes I have been “on the go” with so many things. We have been traveling to Virginia for a few days every month to watch our now 6-month old grandson which I am so happy to be able to do.

We also had a trip to Georgia, then another one soon after to Pensacola for a memorial for one of Ed’s best friends since his Naval Academy days, local concerts and events, doctor appointments, PT appts for my leg and refinishing our very large deck, then back up to Virginia in a few days.

I can’t seem to catch-up and get ahead on a few home decor projects I have been trying to finish. Remember me wanting to paint my kitchen island from blue to green? I still want to do this, as well as other projects that I have bought the supplies for and started, but that have been sitting unfinished for weeks as I haven’t had the time to bring any of them to completion to share with you yet.

I also think the fact that I will be 67 soon and most of my friends are now retired, I am questioning just how hard I want to keep working – which is not the way I used to which was 24-7 – literally. :-). I know you can understand this. :-). DIY’ing is part of me that will always be, now I just need a bit more time to get what I want done.

Whatever you’re up to this week, I hope it’s a great one! XO

Now onto the links I found for you this week.
