Style Scouting: Vol. 295
Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Have you been able to enjoy the summer so far? I know it is not officially summer yet, but any day in June feels like summer to me.
Last week I told you about the failed MRI I had. Thank you for all your well-wishes. :-) I was able to get the scan early this past week and now at least I know what the problems are and will be seeing 2 different orthopedics for opinions. Looks like knee surgery is in my near future.
Right now, pain meds and sticking with the same pair of shoes is keeping me pain free, so much so that Ed and I spent the week in Virginia so we could watch our 7-month old grandson.
We have spent almost every day outdoors enjoying the weather mostly on the front porch swing of my daughter and son-in-laws home. My grandson and I swinging while watching Ed refinish their porch – columns and floor. Ed has become quite a good deck and porch refinisher after just having redone ours.
Here’s to a great week ahead. Now onto the links I found for you.

Does Dr. Gross in Columbia still do knee work? He did my SIL’s knee surgery years ago with great results. Can’t sing that man’s praises enough. Enjoyed the Summer House Tour. Have to come back later today to spend some more time on some of the links.
Wonderful finds, D. Sorry about learning you will need knee surgery. Every single friend I have who has had it says they are very glad they did. (And wish they’d done it sooner.) LOVED the Zionsville home – that’s just my style, as I am not a color person or even too patterned/textured. You would be so bored in my home – PEACEFUL AND CALM – but bored lol.
(Some of my best friends live not far from that house, btw.) And if I had the money I would LOVE to own a charming wee cottage at Carmel-by-the-Sea. It’s one of the best places I have ever been – and it’s been years. I should go back and revisit one of these days.
Glad you were able to visit more with your grandboy. And Ed is amazing. He just keeps on, doesn’t he? What a hard worker / give him a hug from a blogger friend. ♥
Hi Diane Glad you know what’s going on with your knee. I wish I knew about mine. Going for euflexxa shots but I feel there’s something else going on. Keep us posted on your outcome. Love your blog!
