Style Scouting: Vol. 304
Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. This is where we will share the random stuff that captured our attention or inspired us that we found online.

The middle of August is always an exciting period of transition. It’s the time after summer vacations have been enjoyed and the new school year is getting ready to start – an important time for teachers and parents!
This is also our very first post on In My Own Style since Diane announced her retirement. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to carry on Diane’s legacy and only hope we can be half as successful, creative, and inspiring with this site as she has been over the past 17 years.
Our absolute priority is keeping everything you love about In My Own Style intact – from preserving and refreshing Diane’s massive library of budget-friendly DIY tutorials to delivering your favorite Sunday Style Scouting roundups uninterrupted. We hope to bring you fresh decorating inspiration, clever organization ideas, and affordable fashion and design solutions each week!
For now, grab a warm cup of coffee or tea, and we hope you enjoy our version of Style Scouting:
