Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Ed and I are spending the weekend visiting a friend in Florida. It is always nice to get away, even if it just for a short time.

I always get recharged by getting out and about in new places.  When I get back home I find I have newfound energy and inspiration that I want to act on. I thrive on finding ideas and inspiration and that is what today’s post is all about.

I didn’t go looking for this, but needed to get a link to my rings for a reader who asked about them. When I was scrolling to find my rings, I saw this purple flower and had to have it – it reminds me of flower jewelry I had as a kid in the 1960’s.

I am celebrating being able to wear this again also! :-)

  3. Enjoy your time in Florida. Homebound in Illinois…would love to see some vacation pics of where you were. Lots of good ideas today. That modern country estate is to die for!! Will try that penny/straight pin trick with the tulips from Trader Joe’s. I like your Pandora beaded ring, and the purple flower charm. All of the post!! :)

    1. Forgot to add that the purple flower charm reminds me of a favorite pair of Betsy Johnson purple flower earrings that I wear all the time!!

  4. As usual, fabulous finds, tips & food for thought! Enjoy your get-away. I’m headed back to cold, rainy Chicagoland after 8 days in sunny FL. I’ll miss the brilliant blooms on a luscious green backdrop before they arrive several weeks from now. So, meanwhile I will cherish every wonderful memory!
