DIY

A Carrara marble table top on a budget.

I could never ever do this to one of my dolls, it would make me sad. But this is a very clever idea that looks quite nice.

Food

These look easy to assemble and would be perfect to serve to celebrate July 4th.

I think these sandwiches would be perfect for a picnic.

If you liked Creamsicles when you were a kid, you are going to LOVE these.

Yes, please for breakfast.

  1. Just took a break to read your inspiring post. Love the articles/link to Nancy Meyers, the “hobnail” pitcher and the pillow from Amazon. Do you use those pillows? What is your opinion of them? I’m always on the lookout for a new pillow for side sleepers. Thanks!

Please share where I can purchase the large jar holding the candle.
    Happy 4th!

Thank you Ethel – I made the large jar candle holder. You can read how to easily make it in this post: https://bit.ly/3ds27YA

Hello Diane, I also liked your new favorite pitcher, but I can feel a little project about to begin very soon. It should be quite easy to copy, using a thrift store find and some flat backed glass beads, and spray paint. I’ll just wait for your instructions, before I start mine. Have a lovely 4th of July, and enjoy your DAY. Regards Allisan from Wales [UK]

Hi Allisan – That is a great idea. I will be on the lookout for a pitcher to try it on. Thanks for taking the time to share your idea with me.
