Style Scouting: Vol. 298
Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Happy Sunday! It is the last one this June and it looks like it is going to be a hot one. I hope you can stay cool.
Last week I happily walked away from my regular schedule to go to the Riviera Maya to celebrate with family in Mexico. It was a trip purely for my granddaughter and grandson at the Nickelodeon resort with both sets of grandparents in tow.
We had plenty of fun swimming in the swim-up pool off of our rooms, swimming to the swim-up bar for both kid and adult drinks, the waterpark, going to shows and eating. I was even able to limp around and take part in all the play, except the water slides. The Lazy River was more my speed. :-) Even though the resort was for kids, both kids and adults felt pampered with many luxuries.
Now that I am home, I found I needed that fun vacation and realize just how much I work on projects and the blog all the time. Taking the time off has been a reminder that I need to take a break once in awhile!
So for my 67th birthday this week and the holiday weekend upon us, I will be fully unplugging next week and won’t have a Style Scouting post for next Sunday, July 5th. I want to be fully engaged in enjoying my 8-month old grandson’s first visit to the lake for the 4th of July holiday week.
I know so many of you look forward this post on Sunday morning, but I know you understand.
For now I hope the heat isn’t too bad in your area and you enjoy this week’s links below. XO – Diane

I have been enjoying watching You’re Killing Me on Acorn starring Brooke Shields. The first two episodes were kind of slow, but I found the series is getting better, plus I love the scenery.
