Setting up an Easter table for Brunch

Once made, the cute Easter Bunny goodie bags will make a great party favor when hosting a brunch or dinner party on Easter or when you don’t have an Easter basket to give to someone, this bunny bag will make up for it.

In this post, I am sharing how I made them.

How to Make Easter Bunny Bags to Fill With Treats

supplies needed:

  • Brown Paper Lunch Bag
  • Pink paper
  • Black Marker
  • Pencil
  • Glue or glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Bunny Ears Free Printable
  • White cotton ball or pom-pom
  • 6″ length of yellow ribbon
  • Paper hole punch

  1. Lay the lunch bag face up so the seam side is down.
  2. Print the bunny ears and cut out with scissors. Next, center the ears about 8″ up from the bottom of the bag. Trace around the ears on the bag with a pencil.

3. Cut the bunny ears out with a pair of scissors.

4. Open the bag and cut off the excess bag that is on each side of the bag as shown above.

5. Trace the center of the ears out on a piece of pink paper. Cut each out.

6. Cut a small triangle shape for the bunny’s nose on the pink paper. Cut out.

7. Using a black marker, draw eyes and a mouth as shown.

8. Glue on the pink nose and inside of the ears.

9. Glue on a cotton ball or white pom-pom to create a bunny tail on the bottom back of the bag.

Fill the Bag

Fill the bag with Easter grass and treats or small gifts.

Make Easter grass by shredding tissue paper in an office shredder.

If you have a paper shredder, you can run a few sheets of tissue paper through it to make your own colorful Easter grass.

How to Close the Top of the Bunny Bag

If you would like to close the top of the bag: Using a hole puncher, hold the front and back of the bag section between the ears together. Punch a hole on the top of the bag between the ears. Thread a piece of ribbon through the holes to close the bag.

Finish off the ends of the ribbon or make a bow.
