Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.
Ed and I returned from a weeklong vacation in Hilton Head, SC. We stayed in Sea Pines on the south end of the island. As vacations go, we both agree it was perfect in every way.
Morning bike rides on the beach, then the rest of the day spent reading on the beach. Sunshine and balmy breezes every day.
Dinner alfresco on the deck of the place we were staying or at our favorite oceanfront restaurant, Coast.
The full-moon added to the “perfect in every way” vacation.
Even though it is always nice to go traveling, it feels… Oh, so nice to come home. :-)

Hi Diane. Thanks for sharing that lovely Southern Living home. I was very surprised indeed with the bathtub surround, but what had me swooning was the piece in front of the fireplace in the living room. The cushioned table thing-y. The scalloped wicker around that is stunning! Love this home!
Love, love, love that bathtub with the wicker surround. Now, how to DIY that? Hmm…. Any ideas, Diane?
I love these posts!
Nice work (as always) on the mats.
About the scallops, you can always crochet good scallops and stiffen them with the right kind of ModPoge or with white glue and water. I just don’t know if that would be stiff enough, though.
Hi Helen – Thanks for taking the time to share the good idea about making scallops. Very clever! I think white glue mixed with water would do the trick. :-).
